BATHING APE SHIBUYA STORE OPENING PARTY
There is nothing like a good Bathing Ape party in Tokyo. Their 1oth year Anniversary Party went down as one of the best parties of all time and tonights party came close to matching it. The party was in the same location: WOMB and featured performances from Ape Sounds artist Verbal, The Teriyaki Boyz and Pharrell. The DJs were DJ Non, DJ Nigo, Chad Hugo and Cipha Sounds who also handled Pharrell’s set. Now Cipha Sounds for those who don’t know is one of the best DJs in the game. You can catch him on MTV where he is a VJ but mainly on Hot 97 in NYC or on Sirius Satellite Radio(Shade 45) where he does the morning show. Cipha is way too busy to DJ parties like he used to but we highly recommend you go out of your way and catch him play if he comes to a town near you! If you live in NYC also make sure to catch his comedy show.

Gooday mates! Bape is on a totally different level. It is astronomical in a whimsical way. We can talk about this later. I am still waiting for my tee. Rainbow sherbet cone please (in my sweetest puppy dog face). *MUAH! I love you guys and it is good to see J Foxx get out of the states.

I was at the tokyo-new york music festival and I was witness to the teriyaki boyz and dj Nigos first new york perfomance. although the turnout wasnt one of the most “seat filled”, these guys put on a heck of a show and i enjoyed myself alot. (beef or chicken? tell me what you want). In the future, I would love to attend another concert of event such as that one.
