Great start for our shop, thanks to all the fans who showed up early and waited, we opened a little late but it was well worth the wait!  Even though the store will be closed for press and our party on Wednesday a few friends came by to show support.

Our New York Flagship Store will open on Tuesday November 27th from Noon until 7PM. The store will be closed on Wednesday November 28th for press. We will re-open on Thursday November 29th. The store will be open 7 days a week from Noon to 7PM.

A quick note about the New York Flagship store, it is not opening tomorrow(Friday November 23rd) as rumored but we will announce the opening day tomorrow. Here are a few pictures from our upcoming look book which should be up on our site in mid December.  We shot it in Miami at a nice home on a beautiful(a little cloudy but we worked it all out!) Miami afternoon(call time was 7AM for the crew and models).  We don’t want to show too much so that you guys can enjoy the look book when it comes out, but here are a few pictures as promised yesterday.

Our in house and everyones favorite male super model Phillip(he really works hard at the showroom so don’t call him a model if you run into him or Ruffy might bite you) and Johnny Cakes(you could tell that while working on 100s of shoots Johnny always had a strong desire to be in front of the camera by the way he jumped at the opportunity to be in this shoot, he did make the day a lot fun) both enjoying a little picnic with the girls:

The Thinking Man, too bad he didn’t think about taking his wallet out of one of the pair of shorts he wore!  Chad had a flight to catch after the shoot and didn’t realize that his wallet was missing until after all the clothes were packed.  No wallet = No ID = No Flight = general scramble and search for the wallet.  He did make his flight.

Nadège Winter AKA nana winter AKA Headbangirl blessed us with a quick US visit. She attended the Paper Magazine 24 hours department store opening where Colette had a shop and she also played a couple of gigs in LA. She was a little early to the BBC NYC store opening party but still had fun, hopefully she can attend the real event which is around the corner.

No turn tables yet, just a good old boom box!

The New York Times published an interesting story about skateboarding. It’s a little short and somewhat basic but still a nice read.

Johnny Cakes travels the world to catch up to his celebrity clients to keep them “fresh”, you guys just saw him in our Miami post. If you’re near his shop in Jersey, stop by and say hello, tell him we sent you and you might get a part for free!
