We’re open!

Great start for our shop, thanks to all the fans who showed up early and waited, we opened a little late but it was well worth the wait!  Even though the store will be closed for press and our party on Wednesday a few friends came by to show support.

WELL LET ME START OFF MY SAYING:

Pharrell when you get really old you are going to look like Russel Simmons. =] And I think you know that.

*claps* congrats with the store opening, it doesn’t benefit me cause I’m not out there but it’s still something to get excited over.

    You look happy as hell.
    Jay-z looks lost.

  18. tooth November 28th, 2007 12:22 am

I have to say that I was extremely excited and happy to be at the flagship store opening. I just think that it was done extremely half assed. The staff didn’t seem to understand the word customer service. I felt like most of the people without tickets (got there at 10AM) were treated like the store was doing them a favor, not that we’re customers. I’m a fan and a customer, and when I drop $2K on items, I want to be treated with some courtesy. Instead I had to deal with people telling me to back up like I was in the second grade. Also, while all of us were in line at (I was there at 11AM), they didn’t put out the red rope to guide the line until 1PM. At that point a lot of people were cutting in line and such. Thirdly, there was no announcement that the BBC level did not take credit card. So here I am, I stood in line outside, in the cold for 4 hours, and then I have to stand in line upstairs for a half hour to find out that I have to go back down stairs and wait in line for another half hour. I was happy with the purchases (I got the board flips and the BBC NYC shirt) as well as the lay out of the store, but something has to be said about the lack of customer service. Especially when most of the people I saw there were dropping a decent amount of money on store product.
