Army Robots

We might not have flying cars or be able to go on vacation to Mars but that’s not stopping the army from getting futuristic on us. Drones are already all over the place, even in use by some police departments but Robots are still a work in progress. BAE Systems was awarded a contract from the Pentagon to develop these fun guys.

Have any of you guys seen Runaway, it’s a terrible movie with Tom Selleck but it shows how things can go wrong. If you must watch a good movie, try Blade Runner or if that’s too good The Terminator. Either way this could all get crazy quick!

truthfully, it’s for control of space. “in your face from outer space” look that up and you shall find truth. “fun guys”? i think not. and it will get crazy quick, wait and see

first? my mother says the “flying car” already exist! it’s actually a small helicopter/plane. it elevates like a helicopter and fast like a plane. it’s usually used for the army and the government won’t release it as yet. i believe the tag on it is 7 million? she has worked for gulfstream and lockheed martin for years so i take her word for it.

OK, so if u’re gonna watch a good-robot-gone-bad movie, don’t forget ‘I, Robot’ [Will Smith], or Stealth [Jamie Foxx]. pretty cool

also, the whole robots-with-animal-characteristics thing is not exactly a new concept. it’s great to see actual prototypes though, and they look amazing!
but the 1st time i heard abt them was in X-Files [best show on Earth!]. don’t know if the army stole the idea from that, or if it was the other way around, but hey, X-Files wrapped up in 2002 so go figure lol.
