BBC use space as a theme for the design of their clothing. I have a question, why don’t you put some of your designs to good use and in memory of those who conducted studies of space for example one of the greatest astronomers of all time CARL SAGAN (1934-1996). For those of you that do not know of him, he was most known for his research on the possibilities of extraterrestrial life. During his research he made various quotes a handful listed below.

    1. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

    2. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

    3. When you make the finding yourself – even if you’re the last person on Earth to see the light – you’ll never forget it.

    4. For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

    5. For small creatures such as we the vastness is bearable only through love.

    6. Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere.

    7. Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge.

This would be a great way to promote space study amongst your demographic as well as open doors and educate those less fortunate then yourselves, also sending out a positive message and letting your customers know the theory and decisions behind your theme for using space for BBC Clothing. Why are people spending $X amount of dollars on a clothing range when they don’t know what it promotes.

The likeliness of this message being read by someone who has authority to make a decision is about the same as me visiting the moon. Its a shame that this blog is even in existence especially when its these people who are making you money by spending hundreds of $ on your clothes, concerts etc.

You sit their and preach about how you were discovered and were given a chance, but on the same note you don’t even bother reading or replying back to the BBC blog comments posted by your fans who lets not forget are the ones that keep you where you are.

I was given tickets to visit one of your concerts in the UK, this was the first concert I have ever been to and was in the front row. Your performance was good but generally the level of disrespect towards women was offensive but that’s just my opinion. Your clothing line has some good points but has the potential to be superior if you want to take the range/designs to another level let me know.

Give back, GIVE SOMEONE ELSE THE CHANCE THAT RILEY GAVE YOU.

I know people gotta hustle and promote themselves, but it’s kinda disappointing to see someone trying to tell Pharrell what to do.
Anyway, I already got my tickets for when Seeing The Invincible Sounds of Summer Tour comes to Berkeley!!! I’m counting down the days until I get to see my love, Lil Skate Board P!!! And of course I am looking forward to seeing Shae and Chad again. Ohhhh…I HOPE Chad will be there, I know he is a busy family man.
ALSO: I HAVE NEVER SEEN COMMON LIVE BEFORE. I am sooooooooo excited!

  17. loveyoursneaker August 26th, 2008 12:21 am

hey Sagan, why are u imposing ur opinions on their ideas? lol thas the whole idea of the clothing is their expression which is accepted by participants of the culture.

“if you want to take the range/designs to another level let me know”

    are u kidding me? lol

  18. Lolita August 26th, 2008 4:07 am

  19. jerseyfame August 26th, 2008 8:45 am

Thats a good look. Im sure you guys would like a simple congrats now and then…

    “congrats.”

  20. Sagan August 26th, 2008 11:32 am

Ladies and Gents Sagan did not post all the above comment. I would just like to make it clear that i did post the bit about Sagan and the seven quotes as i think it has direct relevance to what BBC clothing can and do promote. The above comment was posted by another party who also shares this account but has the total opposite view to me. I have just read this and do not agree with the comments made.

Along with the party that added the negative commets to the above blog I was at one of the UK shows and it had a great vibe and promotes space. I will now have to delete and re-activate a new account to stop comments being made under my name which frankly are not my opinion.

Its a shame that my account was used to voice a negative opinion. I do not wish to anticipate to tell others what to do nor do i like to force my opinion on others.

I’d like to see some photos from the 2008 Democratic Convention, please:) Thank you.

  22. Mesoclever August 26th, 2008 2:56 pm

Sagan, dont appolgize, there was NOTHING wrong with your observation! it was not imposing, if someone got offened, then they should stop reading. Im interested in what you had to say. Look me up.

  23. cadethappy August 27th, 2008 5:23 pm

Dude, what songs are N*E*R*D gonna play and the Democratic Convention? I really can’t imagine since N*E*R*D is kinda anti-establishment. What I’m trying to say is, Democrat or Republican, politicians is soundin’ like strippers to me. FUCK WHAT THE GOVERNMENT SAYS…!
It’s okay I know you guys are all about rocking the vote and that’s what really matters.
