Another interesting NYC Building:

September 16th, 2008

Here is another interesting residential building about to go up in New York City.  Designed by OMA(Office for Metropolitan Architecture).  We’re not sure if it’s new materials but it really seems that architects around the world are really pushing the limits of gravity with some of these buildings.  This one will be located at 23rd East 22nd Street:

    how would that work structurally?
    the people living on the right side of the building will have to be into minimal living……..i sure wouldnt be putting heavy antiques in that living space!

    im not sure how stable the structure is and Im not blindly going to have faith in the minds behind the construction, but the design is attractive and i welcome it. Its time for us to make our cities beautiful with futuristic ideas and new philosophies of design.
