NASA’s 50th Anniversary
We went to Washington D.C. the last few days to attend NASA’s 50th Anniversary Gala and to participate at an event at the ARC Center. We will have more pictures to post up soon, but here are some pictures from this morning:
Old school, new school, everyone was having fun! The second man to walk on the moon Buzz Aldrin shows current astronaut and all around one of the coolest guy you will meet Leland Melvin that he is down with Star Trak but also has his own sign to represent all the moon walkers out there:

As if 1 American Icon wasn’t enough, Quincy Jones was also on hand, him and Buzz go way back, ever heard this song before: “Fly Me To The Moon”?
Quincy Jones presented plaques to Buzz Aldrin & Leland Melvin, he was also honored on stage, we’ll show you those pictures tomorrow:
Leland Melvin presented a plaque from his last shuttle mission. Leland will be heading back to space next fall and we have some fun surprises for everyone!!!!!
The ARC is an art center in D.C. built to give kids a chance to follow their musical, dance & art dreams. Leland Melvin did an uplifting presentation for about 300 kids where Quincy Jones & Pharrell also spoke.
