That…bike…is…so…freakn…AWESOME!!
I was gonna get one!!
And i love Family Guy!!!
That pic is dope.
But their mouths scary the hell outta me!!!
lol
still cool.
GODlovesPW is crazy for not liking family guy!
but its cool, i respect you regardless.
Will you ever have time to ride it P??
The seat’s high?! It’s a fixed gear freestyle bike, track frame, even with the riser bars it’s supposed to be high. In fact, at his height I’d raise it at least 3 inches. If it’s that low the pedal stroke will be incredibly inefficient, which is fine if you’re cruising at 10rpm around your apartment for 10 minutes, but if you actually ride it on the street you’ll want your pedal stroke to be as efficient as possible.
Otherwise, clean setup, but that frame looks too small for him, and unless you’re playing polo you’re going to want a bigger front chainring or smaller rear cog.
That’s a fun new toy! But I could think of a new toy that would be more fun!

.lordtrvr.: It’s a track frame. Note the track fork ends, and BMW’s website where they call it a track frame.
It’s not a track bike in the traditional sense as it has a more relaxed geometry with ridiculous barspin front wheel clearance, a BMX-style fork, and riser bars. If you take a look at the people who ride them/promote them (like, say, John Prolly of prollyisnotprobably.com fame), they do tricks on them. Some might even say “freestyle” tricks on them. Here’s some video proof:
Note: They’re FREESTYLING on the same TRACK FRAME that Pharrell owns. Maybe you don’t like the name “fixed gear freestyle”, but fuck, that’s what they’re doing, and that’s what the bike was built for.
Oh, and Phil Woods are more played out than Aerospokes, son.

BMW is a trick frame. might as well be BMX.
a brief aerospoke history lesson..
-long ago, they were actually somewhat of a ‘legit’ race wheel. This was in a time when people didn’t really know dick about what was actually aero.
-they fell out of favor for nearly everyone as they were a) heavy b) flexible and c) untrueable.
-eventually, messengers noticed they were being blown out on sales for so cheap (think $25 a wheel used, $80 new) that it made sense to ride them because once they were toast from hard riding, you wouldn’t have much invested in them and could get another anyway.
-people emulate the messenger look, Aerospoke fashion catches on with the hip.
-inevitable Aerospoke backlash.
Phil Woods are super high quality hubs. Deep V’s while trendy, are a super strong wheel, and weigh a shit ton less than an aerospoke.
I just wanted to plug the site. All you track and fixed gear heads who love to ride skidders be sure and check out the site. You sign up, invite friends, and earn points to get free ish!
Pharrell Rides Skidders so should you.
wow! its like that vanilliaface? again i’ll just say it flat out. back away from the monitor son. knowing your wheel business is a proper thing to do but when you can start referencing youtube clips? to far. and phil woods played out? next your gonna say tires are lame right? get a grip homie. and yeah i scoffed at the word freestyle? cause you used it lame. hey the truth hurts. “yeah i sampled your voice, you usin wrong. you made it a hot line i made it a hot song” a track bike is a track bike so defined by geometry and other such goodies like horizontal dropouts and such. so yeah freestyle track bike is kind of a mislabel. sorry pal.natepuza thanks for the lesson for anyone who wasnt aware of some aerospoke history.
