That’s wonderful. Some people in my church were in line yesterday for 5 hours. Thankfully the people fed them. :) We dropped them off at 2:30 and didn’t pick them up until a little after 7:30. They were kind enough to keep the polls open for all those that stood in line that long. I’m going to vote this morning.

  24. stephanie-jane November 3rd, 2008 9:24 am

Thanks for voting Obama Pharrell- from a concerned woman from the UK.

  25. Terri November 3rd, 2008 10:20 am

He’ll know what it’s like for us fans queuing up for hours outside gigs/meet and greets to see him and the rest of NERD now, lol! xx

  26. G4CloudHopper November 3rd, 2008 11:10 am

There should be a thread with some of us that have pics of us waiting in line tomorrow. Obama ‘08!!!!!!!

  27. flipmelo November 3rd, 2008 11:44 am

This is just why Pharrell is that dude!! Taking the time out of his busy schedule to wait in line just like the rest to place his vote. Wish we seen more pics like these of other artists.

  28. rd41983 November 3rd, 2008 12:32 pm

Damn, I wonder what district he votes in…probably something by the beach. It’d be awesome to be waiting in line to vote and see Pharrell there waiting right along with you. Of course, I’d probably geek it up and be like “Hey, you’re Pharrell” and he’d more than likely look at me like “did that guy just tell me that I’m me?!?”

  29. deejadee November 3rd, 2008 2:35 pm

Thats some real shit! godd for you P! I am registered as well! Beter late than never! BAROCK THE VOTE !!!!!!

  30. omotadeo November 3rd, 2008 2:46 pm

People really need to vote…these tie states are apparently getting close. I strongly hope this is not a case of the Bradley Effect where white voters may appear to side for an minority leader however, when it comes down to it..vote otherwise. If McCain wins I will be moving to Sweden where the Gini coefficient is lower than the US. Gini coefficient measures the inequality rate of income—gap between the rich and poor is growing. I’m young in college, don’t know why, being educated to become a peon..that’s what school is basically. Why am I here? People need to vote, on some real, and hope to end this oppression of low income people.

  33. omotadeo November 3rd, 2008 4:39 pm

Also after leaving my econ class, I learned yet another lesson, IN the end we are all dead. The human mind is feeble, Einstein said it himself. “It takes a true genius to make life simpler, but not simpler than that” (Einstein). We really don’t know anything (don’t really know where we came from). We can do tests, and observe stuff, like every fall the leaves fall to the ground, we know that but don’t know why. I also came to realize that I am here to observe actors in this energy show called life (too funny). We’re all playing along. No one knows what the future holds but hey, give someone an opportunity to buy a hot dog as well as the bun. Obama may possibly make a change, no one knows, but vote, and keep hope alive. Love is the only real thing. OK I’m done haha :)

  34. miarls November 3rd, 2008 5:26 pm

    Hi Everyone:

I waited in that line with Pharrell for over 3 hours yesterday. He was right behind me. It was in Coral Gables, FL at the Coral Gables Library which is in Dade County. He was super cool with everyone and spoke to all the people around him. He was displeased that the line was not moving any faster but so was everyone else. I have always loved and respected his music. But for him to stand there with his bodyguard a few feet away for so many hours really takes a special kind of person.
On another note, Cynthia Dixon appeared right near the entrance walked in and voted. I’m sure she had someone in line waiting all that time.

^ “IN the end”…No One Ever Really Dies ;)

Great to see Pharrell out in line to vote! I’m looking forward to watching the poll results tomorrow. Obama IS the change this country needs right now, I just hope that all of America is ready to accept him. His presidency will be a test of our nation and how it has grown.

One voice can change the world!

  36. casius November 3rd, 2008 7:01 pm
