Sorry to tell you that we do not look at bapetalk2, we get our feedback from our customers and fans but the designs and concepts remain Pharrell’s & Nigo’s and we are very happy with the results.

it seems that there is a harsh European look goin on and we’ll jus see how American fans feel about it. but it does give off a grunge type feel to the clothin the waffle jeans are crazy (in brown) but thas all i’m feelin.

I love the way BBC is moving towards being European styled. I seriously hate those “street style” bbc clothes, it adulterates the brand. BBC is unique because you can take a look and might not like it at first, but when its sold out, you’ll regret not buying it. And I hate the season 7 ice cream stuff…. but season 8 is fresh.
I just looked at that Look Book and it was unbelievable! I liked everything;

Some of the new clothes(hoodies,jeans) look still nice but nevertheless it seems that bbc is moving in a direction that is not necessarily good. At the beginning there were only some t-shirts jeans and hoodies and now - too much stuff and the original fat symbols on the clothes are missing totally. Besides, it seems to me that also his music is moving in the same direction. Please Pharrell come back as i used to know you because you are the one who influenced my life to a lager extend.

It’s amazing how close minded some people can be. We’re having fun and are lucky to be in a position where we can shoot our look books in different places like Tokyo, Miami and New York and give our line a different feel. This time we shot it in London with the help of Cassette Playa who gave the line a different twist which turned out great. Come in our stores or retail partners in January and see it for your selves, this is one of our best collection.
The Camo pants from the Sooner or Later video will come out during S8 as an exclusive release. We have over 300 items each season so we can’t include everything in our seasonal Look Books. We’ll post more info on those pants soon.

I dont think u can call everyone who doesnt like this crap “close minded” because me for instance i like so many different things its ridiculous but this season just sucks to me. You can’t call a guy who wears pink/green flannels, ice cream cones and astronauts on his shirts/pants close minded, because that is far from the ordinary clothing lines out even to this day. So i personally think that BBC should think a little before belittling their critics/fans/customers by calling them close minded.

im very open minded….im just stating that in my opinion, this is the worst season…..i see that you guys are having fun and i respect that to the fullest……its a couple peices i like but….overall its whatever…i still support BBC/Ice Cream, as my favorite line of Lifestyle…..Click My Name. Peace.

Its great to have the opportunity to shoot in different locations however it does not change the final outcome of the shots unless the clothing and photographer are upto it. You said before that the price points are high due to the quality craftsmenship however the lookbook isnt on par with other prestigious high fashion labels. You could do a streetwear shoot with Testino or LaChappelle (not the comedian) then we would see a jump in class and image of the label. And for the people who say this is moving towards a more Euro (London) style, I beg to differ. Apart from our East London try hards, this collection does not represent our fashion direction. Watch some catwalks, visit some showrooms etc. The silouhette is slimmer (which is a worldwide change) and is a move away from the american ‘baggy’ look but not a London thing. Hedi Slimane re-introduced slim fit for Dior and since then everyone has followed suit.
Sorry for the rant but I want this brand to succeed and not for its idol obsessed but for its genuine place among fashion.

Just adding my 2 cents. A person can still be fan even if they don’t like one or two songs on an album, what their favorite celebrity chooses to wear, date, etc. So just because people voiced their opinions stating they didn’t like the clothes, does not make them less than a fan. It makes them honest. A fan does not have to agree and like everything.
I like some of the clothes, not all of them. And let me just add, I AM a repeat customer and a fan.

All you would say that Bape was original. I would agree too. for the last 7 seasons, BBC was a minigated form of BAPE. Now with the season 8 releases, i can see how BBC is taking a new approach and ACTUALLY be different from bape.
Dont get me wrong i dont hate bape.
Also, you have to ask, WHO buys BBC.
Answer: Pharrell/The Neptunes Fans. The Neptunes is big in Europe, not America. Why not take a chance and target the europeans?

@ whynotsteak…are u american?? If u are then u wud know that The Neptunes are BIG here as well… BBC/Ice Cream has their signature..that’s what all clothing designers do (they release similar clothing, but with a twist as the brand grows)

Honestly just because you don’t like the look of these models, or the way the photos are taken, or the way the outfits are put together, it doesn’t mean it’s the worst season ever. I’m sure that BBC/IC are coming with something for everyone, and I am sure once it hits the stores it will grow on most of the TRUE fans of line and real fashion heads around the world. Everyone, all over the world, rocks different things in different ways… I think people should definitely use phrases like “…to me.” as in “this is the worst season, to me…” or “in my opinion…” Also it seems like every season BBC/IC have brought classic logos and designs from seasons past, (stick up loops? what?? and the cone head logo was brought back this season) They just don’t put those items in the look books, look books are made to showcase the special pieces, the highlights of collections and if they put everything then we wouldn’t be surprised when they drop some dope old joints…. sheesh people relax.
