If you’re in New York tonight and feel like checking out some art, head out to Brooklyn for Morning Breath & Cycle present Oddities a collection of new paintings. Our friend Jason Noto from Morning Breath used to work with Bill McMullen at the Drawing Board which was the art department for Def Jam in the 80’s & 90’s so it’s great to see both of them have their shows a week apart.

Items of the week no one needs
It’s amazing that people think of these things and actually get them made. Both the Bra Drier($TBD) and the Roll n Pour($16) must have taken the inventors quit a while to develop and it leaves you thinking that those great minds could be put to a better use.

Galaxies full of Earths & Alien Life?
Hopefully we’ll find out soon enough, but it would only make sense since there are billions of known galaxies that have yet to be explored and who knows how many more to be discovered. It sure would take everybody’s mind off of the financial crisis if they announced that they found Alien Life. Another reason why we hope that President Obama won’t be cutting NASA’s budget too much! U.S. Navy looking for a taker
We feature a lot of yachts on this site but this is the ultimate James Bond vessel!
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Anybody want some top-secret seagoing vessels? The Navy has a pair it doesn’t need anymore. It has been trying to give them away since 2006, and they’re headed for the scrap yard if somebody doesn’t speak up soon.
