ART BASEL
Sorry for the slow blog posting, we’re in Switzerland for a special moment. Today at the opening of the fair in Basel, Pharrell was on hand to show his collaboration piece with Takashi Murakami named “The Simple Things”. The piece sold in less than a half hour!

Glass fiber, steel, acrylic, wood, LED and 7 objects made of gold (white, yellow and pink) set with rubies, sapphires, emeralds and diamonds.

An Humble Man Prays! Pharrell you still look great. These are some beautiful pictures. I love the shoes on display because they have my favorite color purple, favorite chip doritos and favorite drink pepsi with a bling.

Pharrell looks like a modern cowboy haha!
It took me longer than usual to even HAVE words for this. I’m really impressed by the creativity & story. Why Mr. Dob? The dichotomous irony to me is how NOT simple of a task it must’ve been to bejewel these “things”. I mean, I’m sure they prob aren’t rhinestones from K-mart’s craft section that we could comfortably vaccuum if one fell off of the ketchup bottle. I love this in it’s entirety – I see the brilliance of Pharrell, Murakami & Jacob & Co. and I truly respect and admire it.
