Obama is a great guy and has great intentions for this country but when it comes to healthcare he is wrong… this country doesn’t need to be more in debt.. They say its fair but its just socialism at its best.. This country needs free market and people with a brain.. Just because my family wealthy I need to pay for other peoples healthcare.. thats BULLSHIT… There is a reason the United States of America has progressed the way it has because we haven’t had any bad elements of any other country and thats why we have been tanking… OH YA IF ANYONE CAN PUT UP HERE AND LIST THREE THINGS THAT OBAMA HAS ACCOMPLISHED AS A POSITIVE NOTE SO FAR AS A PRESIDENT I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW… CUS HE HAS NOT DONE SHIT… AND DON’T SAY “HE IS THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT’ THATS MORE BS.. I HAVE BEEN ROCKING BAPE, BBC, AND ICECREAM FOR YEARS..

Sorry guys. You KNOW I’ve got my longest post coming to respond to @njsk8r. I hope you read it in it’s entirety. Just a head’s up.

Typically, I don’t honor ignorance with a response but I see the need for major de-cruckification.

@njsk8r : You need to de-crunk yourself. This is what you wrote. See my responses in parentheses.

Obama is a great guy (YES) and has great intentions for this country (YES) but when it comes to healthcare he is wrong (NOPE, you are)… this country doesn’t need to be more in debt (TRUE DAT, TRUE) .. They say its fair but its just socialism at its best.. (YOU HEARD THAT FROM TV PROPAGANDA AND CHEERLEADER NEWS PROGRAMMING) This country needs free market (THAT’S WHAT WE HAVE..WHERE IS FREE MARKET GOING? I AGREE FREE MARKET IS GOOD, OBAMA IS NOT HINDERING FREE-MARKET and IF YOU THINK SO, PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW) and people with a brain..(HMMMM…CAN’T RESPOND TO THAT) Just because my family wealthy (SO WHAT?) I need to pay for other peoples healthcare (ABSOLUTELY YES, RICKY SHROEDER) .. thats BULLSHIT (DEFINE BULLSHIT)… There is a reason the United States of America has progressed the way it has because we haven’t had any bad elements of any other country (EXAMPLES PLEASE) and thats why we have been tanking (YOU ARE CONTRADICTING YOURSELF OXYMORONICALLY AMONGST YOUR TYPOS. PLEASE CLARIFY) … OH YA IF ANYONE CAN PUT UP HERE AND LIST THREE THINGS THAT OBAMA HAS ACCOMPLISHED AS A POSITIVE NOTE SO FAR AS A PRESIDENT I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW (SEE BELOW)… CUS HE HAS NOT DONE SHIT (SEE BELOW)… AND DON’T SAY “HE IS THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT’ (WHY?) THATS MORE BS (HOW AND DEFINE BS).. I HAVE BEEN ROCKING BAPE, BBC, AND ICECREAM FOR YEARS.. (WHO THE F@CK CARES?? SO HAVE 99.9% OF THIS BLOG COMMUNITY)

If you haven’t noticed, the trend on this blog is positivity. I’m an advocate of freedom of speech, therefore I cannot suggest where you spread your negativity. However, I will say, when you decided to bash Obama here, you picked the WRONG forum, sister.

Main thing is – America isn’t doing well. We can’t blame other nations for this like you did in your post. We progressed in the PAST through capitalism and trade. How can we progress when the people of other nations that we do business with simply do not like us??

I’ll give you 3 things alright.

1.)Your parents being wealthy is not relevant or necessary to share with us. Unless of course, you’re telling us because you’ve adopted your independent thinking or “lack thereof” from their ways of old as you still suck from their tits? Seems your parents would not be relevant unless healthcare reform is affecting them NOT YOU, and you hear what they say and regurgitate your stagnant views based off of you sharing a brain with them. I’m sure you also share their credit card to buy your BBC, Ice Cream, etc., another irrelevant point of yours. We will cover this in #2.

2.)What does your clothing have to do with healthcare reform? After stating AND DON’T SAY HE IS THIS FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT THAT’S MORE BS”, um..am I missing something? You sound angry and racially charged. What constitutes this as bullshit? I’m half Nigerian, Obama’s half Kenyan…WE’RE BLACK. So given that this is fact, and it’s also fact that he’s president, please clarify how this is (for lack of an intelligent term ) “bullshit”? Sounds like another phrase you coined from someone else.

3.)Define what socialism means to you please. I know what it means, do you? Why have other nations prospered and survived from their healthcare protocol, like Canada and France? Why has your glorious United States plummeted and been tumultuous and disease ridden over the last decade? Because your parent’s homie BUSH had other personal agendas like shock and awe with bombs like a country bumpkin and stalking Saddam so hard that he left the nation with his tail between his legs and for Obama to fix?

a.)Let me ask you –Name 3 positive things that you’ve done, @njsk8r, since Obama’s been in office other than stimulate our economy by purchasing Ice-Cream, Bape and BBC? Are you and your parents sitting with your hands folded waiting for the sky to fall with paranoia and ridicule and blame-shifting? Obama’s not doing that. I for sure am not doing that.

b.) Are you suggesting that because Pharrell is black and not bullshit that you can support him with BBC and your wardrobe but the president is black and you don’t support him so it’s not a “black thing” that’s causing you to feel that he’s bullshit? Are you that girl that justifies not being racist because you have ONE black friend? Please humor me and shut me up by telling me that you actually are black man (or woman). I won’t believe you, but it is entirely possible.

c.)I’m liberal and I vote independently. Why not share the wealth instead of having pockets of it in certain places and selfishly hording it with white knuckles like gluttonous hogbeasts? I mean, that’s the reputation of America…greedy and tacky (no class). Most people won’t spend their fortunes in a lifetime. If we are a nation, let’s act like one and unite – not solely among your siloed, socio-economic classes. Distribute it because at the end of the day, without your Detroit factory workers, dishwashers at your restaurants and nannies and housekeepers, or as you probably call it, “cleaning lady” there is no labor in this country and the law of supply and demand (simple microeconomics 101) denotes that the scales will imbalance with increased demand for lack of goods and services. The lower classes should not revert back to slavery. America always seems to thrive off of distinguishing a lower class and race. What race will it be next?

4.)Oh, and here are your 3+ things:

1.)The “Cash for Clunkers” initiative stimulated the economy by kick starting the housing market and leveraging sales and kept car dealers with food on the table. The home appliance market will sell appliances with huge rebates and hopefully shift into selling a multitude of energy efficient appliances which will ultimately help save the planet whilst bolstering the economy.

2.)Foreign affairs/relations. Repairing relationships that Bush destroyed… why is this important? The U.S. isn’t doing too hot. As mentioned in my next point.

3.)Global G-20 Economic Summit in March, Obama said that the US economy is inextricably linked with the rest of the world, particularly when it comes to exports. “We’ve got to make sure the global economy as a whole is successful,” he said.

DUH – That’s how America has flourished as a capitalist economy in the PAST – International importing/exporting of goods. Don’t you think our relationships with the rest of the world are important? Do you understand the effect of the law of supply and demand and how foreign policy relates to gas prices and how this has hurt our automotive industry and the effect our nation’s largest employer (General Motors) has suffered because of this? I got laid off from advertising for GM. So yeah, global relationships are important.

    * Repairing what Bush destroyed is important.

4.)Foreign Policy – gained a huge foreign policy success by urging the government of Pakistan to take a strong military stand against a Taliban offensive that threatened the capital city of Islamabad.

5.) Obama has brought home a lot of our U.S soldiers.
For perpective, listen to “Wonderful Place” (I love the hidden track after this song on Fly or Die) or “Improvised Jam” – you can find it on youtube..By N*E*R*D.
Listen to Pink Floyd “Breathe”, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie “Ziggy Stardust”, Allman Bros Band “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed”, Blues Traveler “Chrystal Flame”, Phish “Fee” and Greatful Dead “Franklin’s Tower”, “Touch of Grey”, “Sugar Magnolia” to relax while you’re at it. Wish you could see Jerry Garcia perform live like I did back in high-school, but he’s gone now. Seriously, music heals. Look-up these songs, light an incense, clean your room, drink some tea and you might feel better and not be so hostile and “ANTI”…..

6.) And finally, Obama has kept Americans safe from attack.

Please let us know if you need anything else.

    Respectfully Submitted & Warmest Regards,
-Me (Someone who wouldn’t mind having health insurance since getting laid off by GM, but I’m a hippie so herbs work just fine so I’m surviving. Our country has evolved and I might be the first black female president for all you know. I’m happy we don’t have a slave mentality and are progressing against ignorance. It’s a major achievement for all races to have a first black president. Get into THAT, and let’s keep it really hood… And I’m out. ONE)

in regards to the chosen finalist

All that I can say is that I am highly disappointed in these results on many levels. First I am amazed that an entry that was submitted PASSED THE DEADLINE could remain eligible to be considered a finalist. Especially when others like myself who found out about the competition the day of deadline managed to put together high-end professional quality designs.

Secondly because the results were announced TWO days late.

And third, three of the five finalist can not even be found in the submission list from ARTST.com which baffles me even further. The majority of the minority finalist didn’t submit their artwork properly???

As a voter and participant I demand a recount. I demand that all late and invalid entries be disqualified based simply on their inability to adhere to the contest rules. I have no quarrel with the art that was chosen because I believe in the subjectivity of what is “good design” how ever I do believe in fairness and equality. To accept these 5 designs as finalist would be unfair to all the other participants who went out of their way to support Rock The Vote through the systems Rock The Vote has created.

It would be like me voting for Obama last Nov. but John McCain Winning in December because a bunch of old lazy republicans decided to vote late, twice.

    X
