Amazing!!!
Autistic Artist Stephen Wiltshire draws the Manhattan skyline from memory. His photographic memory allows him to draw images with amazing details. Make sure to check out the rest of his work on his site, and hit the jump for more pics of the Manhattan skyline.

I saw a doco on this kid just recently… He is truly phenomenal, the way he scanned his surroundings, memorised them in amazing detail then drew it so well is such a spin out. Not only did he overcome the challenge of everyday living, he is now a successful practising artist, which is so good… Although, it did help he was from a family with some money – if he grew up in a state funded estate or in a non first world country i’m absolutely sure he’d be dead or in an institution now… But still – it’s such an amazing story…
But yeah, he is superhuman in amazingness
WOW!!!!!!! what a great talent!
That is Amazing, very creativ
Now that’s insane! He deserves top money for his pieces due to the fact that he free hands them through memory. (bowing) This man is truly astonishing!
I love you guys for posting stuff like this. This is what makes being part of the human race such an honor.
Great Minds think alike. I blogged about this last night on artst.com
my nephew is 6, and he to is autistic. He has a phenominal ability for drawing as well. I can’t wait til he’s older, and to see his drawings mature.
