New iPod update

Apple keeps staying ahead of it’s competition by always upgrading their toys in a way that makes customers go back out and buy them again.  The 3 new iPods: Nano, Shuffle and Touch all look like winners to us!  Apple TV also got a revamp and seems a lot more attractive, but can it replace cable?  More more info click here.

Cassette Digitizer

We were just talking about cassettes and mixtapes the other day! Now some of you might have some classic mixtapes like Brucie Bee or Kid Cupri or you’re own mixes which you want to listen to on your iPod. This cassette digitizer will do that and also play that cassette if you don’t want the MP3 but for that you might as well use your deck. The MV-CM001U AKA “CASSETTE to DIGITAL” only has one small issue, the software to transform your music into digital files (CASSETTE MATE) only works with Windows XP or Vista and does not support Apple for now. $80, comes out in Japan in a few weeks.

Dieter Rams Vs. Jonathan Ive

Jonathan Ive is the genius designer behind most of Apples product line, including the iPod. What most people don’t realize is that he gets his inspiration from another design genius named Dieter Rams who during the 50s & 60s designed a lot of amazing products and concepts for Braun.

Here are a few examples of those designs:
